Good morning everyone!
It's already Thursday, 10th May here, so allow me to say Happy Ascension Day to those who celebrate and happy holiday to others.

And the FB project is...

Moo Wrapper. 😵 🙁
Finally my GPU has something to crunch on. But, like Tony said, it becomes HEXAthlon. Why Sebastien, why... 😡😡😡

On another note..........the PhenomII X4 is dead🙁........but a Ryzen 2700X has risen in its place.😀😀
The king is dead, long live The King!!!
Congratulation on your brand spanking new rig, OK. From 4 to 16 threads in nearly same power envelope, that's a lot.

........and now the PhenomII X4 has risen from the dead leaving the Core2 Duo to go on to greener pastures............the end.

Till NVidia gets off the cash cow and puts out the Volta for consumers.

5thlon CrossCountry will end in just over 24 hours. Perhaps, some AMD GPU users can reallocate their resource into FB Sprint.
edit: nothing to see here, my bad

Well, what a surprise....we are in 1st.😱 All the rest are even more preoccupied with the Pentathlon than we seem to be.
UK BOINC Team is gaining on us, so I don't think our lofty spot will last forever, but it is a far better showing than I expected.🙂
Pick your battles and crunch on!!!😀

Bunkering for the Pentathlon, I had 4 clients on my computer with a 1080Ti. Well, I was sleepy I guess and all 4 clients were running Moo!, and my primary client was running 2 tasks concurrently.

So, I was running 5 tasks at a time on a 1080Ti with one CPU thread allocated, and even so, it was running each of the 5 tasks in about 12 minutes each.

ONE task running on my 1080 system, and it's running 22 minutes....for one vs 5. Looking over my valid tasks, I had a mix of openCL and cuda31 tasks, but they seem to run about the same (cuda 31 a little longer).

I quit running Moo! in my extra clients, and......my times for just 2 tasks vs 5 did not improve, lol. Weird.

My AMD R9-280X was up to 20 some hours, so I aborted it, 2nd tasks looked to be doing the same thing, so aborted those as well and won't try it again.

I have problem running moo! with 2 tasks concurently. It seemed working at first, and then one of them stuck leaving only one working task. But every time I see my GPU utilisation graph, it looks like broken hacksaw (not properly utilised) and makes OCD side of me gone wild.

Stefan, before you pointed out that we have a shot at gold, I started moving my 1070ti to PrimeGrid. But I think I will stay with Moo!! It might be our only change at FB gold this year.

In the other two leagues, there are also exactly 2 teams per league who are seriously participating in this one.

League 2:
  1. Crunching@EVGA (who are participating at Pentathlon)
  2. XtremeSystems (who are not, at least not as a team)
League 3:
  1. LITOMYSL (participating at Pentathlon)
  2. Anguillan Pirates (not at the Pentathlon as a team, but AFAIK as individuals)
Each of the two league 3 teams put in 1/2 our effort (points wise). Each of the league 2 teams --- triple our effort. 😎
