Day one and we have the silver leaning our way.:) I think we may have awoken a Czech monster. They slept through the last sprint and concentrated on the pentathlon. This time around they may be a bit more formidable.
Gridcoin is Gridcoin and does what they do.
Keep on looking for that secret message!o_O

Day two and still hanging on to the silver spot. We have also picked up a spot and 2 points in the Marathon.
The race between 3rd and 4th seems to be heating up though. Will SUSA have enough to pass CNT?
Meanwhile in League 2 the [H]ard one's are taking it to the Xtreme:eek::oops::D

I think Boinc@Poland noticed we are on their tail in the marathon and moving up fast. :)

Not quite the final, but have to go before the end.
I'm going to predict that the silver is ours along with a gain of two places and 4 points in the marathon.:D
SUSA came on strong and has edged out CNT for the #3 spot.
Over all it looks to be a third place for us. [H]ardOCP couldn't quite muster enough for first, but put in quite the showing at first in their league and second overall.:)

Day 3 complete: Yes, Silver it is!
uWklXOy.png

There was some curiously synchronized bunker opening going on between 13h and 14h, from us, SETI.USA, and Rechenkraft.net. The last few hours still had some late bunkers from SETI.USA, Rechenkraft.net, and L'Alliance Francophone.

Extrapolating from the previous GPU sprint outside the Pentathlon, the Amicable Numbers sprint, it was not too much of a surprise to see SETI.USA overtaking Czech National Team. But it made a bit of a stir in CNT's forum.

Good job from Overclock.net going super steady and remaining in front of L'AF.

Planet 3DNow! apparently began to get a grip on Enigma@home's quirks late in the game, and maneuvered themselves in front of UK BOINC Team over the course of several hours.

League 2: [H]ard|OCP are virtually tied with league 1's #1, Gridcoin.
League 3: Impressive job from LITOMYSL Boinc Team Czech Republic, with an output almost the same as league 1's #7, L'AF.

Now we have 1 bronze, 1 gold, and 1 silver from this year's sprints. Not bad at all for rookie, is it?
Well done TeAm!

*I fell asleep when watching MonacoGP, but fortunate enough to see Tom Brady and Princess Charlene.

Merely 6 sprints into this season, and already 3 medals...
These were GPU sprints though. We will have our work cut out in the upcoming CPU sprints.

Sunday was again a record-breaking day for Enigma@home:
rsa1m8q.png

Of course this competition brought new users to the project.
dAkqPu7.png

In addition, these new users certainly received crash courses on the technical quirks of Enigma@home by their more experienced team mates, enabling the n00bs to run it effectively (or at all) in a matter of hours or of a day. On many configs, it certainly isn't a project which you just add and it just works.

(I am one of the n00bs myself. I joined the project after 24:00 local time — way past the time of day at which my mental capacity is at its peak — but got it to work right away, among else because one of the very first steps which I did was to allow test applications. I believe I did this because I remembered posts from @iwajabitw from 2017, talking about experimental GPU support at Enigma. Thanks!)

I hate this MOD_PYTHON project. When it's selected it's always ERRORing out. :p :(
Is this problem a difficult time consuming thing to fix? If not, you would think there would be a number of race fans willing to volunteer to do it right on a timely basis. :confused_old: o_O  Maybe the monkeys over at GoofyxGrid could help?
