So we ended up in 7th place in the BOINC Pentathlon, but we are 6th in the Formula BOINC series. [H] is in league two though,
If Formula BOINC 2018 was like Pentathlon 2018, we would not only compete with the [H], but Gridcoin would be out. And certain overclockers from the UK would spice up the sprints with Sunday morning bunker drops for their team of the month.

Over in league 2, Meisterkühler are putting pressure onto [H]ard|OCP ... in the SZTAKI Desktop Grid marathon.
http://formula-boinc.org/projets.py?prj=51&year=2018

Meanwhile in league 1, L'Alliance Francophone are checking out whether they can catch up with Gridcoin before the project stops generating tasks. (Their user modesti posted a call to arms in their forum.) But so far, L'AF are not making the necessary progress:
https://stats3.free-dc.org/stats.php?page=teams&proj=sztaki&sort=yesterday

Due to the GPU sprint combined with summer weather, I switched 1/3rd of my SZTAKI nodes off yesterday. But our own marathon rank looks like a done deal at this point, due to the skilled and resourceful folks at SETI.Germany and Team 67 handling a large part of SZTAKI's overall production.

Guys, I can't get Enigma to run on my GTX 1070 and 3930K combo. I've updated/rolled back drivers, set default speeds on GPU and CPU,stopped all work except for Enigma, no joy. At a loss here. This is all it tells me:

Code:
<core_client_version>7.6.33</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
(unknown error) - exit code 195 (0xc3)
</message>
<stderr_txt>
wrapper [26118 765 +dev#]: starting (GPU #0)
07:08:38 (5144): wrapper: running enigma_cuda.exe (-d 0 -R -o results.txt 04trigr.cur 04unigr.cur 04ciphertext)
app exit status: 0xc0000135
07:08:40 (5144): called boinc_finish

</stderr_txt>
]]>

Any ideas?

Hmm, I just don't remember doing anything special to any of the other machines. But I'll install Visual Studio.

There have been multiple projects that required various versions over the years. Your other boxes may have already had some of those versions installed. It isn't always quite clear which exact version(s) stay relevant as time goes by...

I think some of the nVidia drivers even come with one of the versions packaged with it for the GeForce Experience application or whatever it is called to work.

I'm having more problems than before running Moo!, it just gives me computation errors on many more machines than it used to, both AMD and Nvidia. On the AMD machine, I have explicitly installed the latest OpenCL SDK, and updated to the latest BOINC version, to no avail, it's still "Unable to initialize OpenCL:"

http://moowrap.net/result.php?resultid=79181046

It seems I've run into this before, but my memory is failing me.

A time ago I had OpenCL initialization failures with Moo: I suspended and resumed jobs, and the resumption failed somehow, which left OpenCL blocked. I recovered from this by a reboot.

Multiple reboots, driver rollbacks, etc. have been done here. I am from the Windows school of rebooting, as in when the wind changes direction, we reboot just to be safe. :tearsofjoy:

@crashtech, Maybe this thread might help you. One possible solution is to remove project restarting windows and adding the project back again. The other involves editing the registry to disable the intel OpenCL loader. Maybe there is a conflict between intel and AMD OpenCL loaders?
