I thought Segel was just another goofball stoner and he'd be cool. No. He wrote this thing, and the dude is weird - Muppet Dracula Rock Opera?? WTF? Not at all funny. Just weird.

That sounds hilarious to me.

*spoiler* He sings in the movie. Lovesick Dracula song. It's fvcking terrible.

I saw it over the weekend. Too much male frontal nudity and almost none female nudity <except the topless pic of the dark hair chick>.

Here is the movie...girl broke up with guy...guy was sad...guy discovered himself and became a better person..found new girl...old girl wanted guy back....guy decided to stay with new girl...happy ending...the end.

(*spoiler*) I did spit coke when Rudd said " 'e sounds like 'e's from London" - maybe not so much of a spoiler, but it's funny as hell in context.

Not a spoiler for most as it was in the preview 😛.

PS - That's the first time Kunis has looked like an all-growed-up woman to me, which was a plus. I thought she looked great. My wife thought her face was way too orange from all the makeup.

Ohhh she was definitely all grown up 😀

The previews got me hating the movie already. I can only imagine the movie is worse, but I won't know until it shows up on HBO.

Fucking hilarious movie. The penis shots were hilarious, not disgusting. Get over it, it's a penis.

"Let my people go" was one of the funniest scenes that I've ever seen.

I went and watched it last night and thought it was pretty funny.

Mila kunis is ridiculously hot. I always thought she was alright in That 70's Show, but she really took a step up in this movie. The other blond girl is pretty hot too.

I saw it today too, Mila Kunis might have just supplanted Megan Fox in my mind as the hottest woman in Hollywood.
Movie had some good laughs, needed some editing - and not just the male frontal scenes.

I could've done without them, but I wouldn't call the dick shots excessive. It's not look they focused on his dangle, they just didn't cut it out of frame. The one time when a dong shot would've truly been gratuitous (I'VE GOT A SURPRISE FOR YOUUUUUUUUUU!) they made sure to hold the camera above his waist.

I do not regret spending my money on this movie and might even go again.

Oh man this movie is great. On par with Knocked Up and 40 Year Old Virgin. The previews don't do the movie justice.

I'm very glad that I didn't see the previews before going.

I loved it, as did my 67-year-old mother. Apatow is brilliant IMO.

Apatow had no creative input in this movie. it was written by Jason Segel (the star of the movie)

I thought it was funny. But I agree, there was too much penis, and always when I wasn't expecting it.

Edit: I found Mila Kunis to be hotter in the movie also. Still not sure if that picture was real or not though.

What was with her fake tan?

For a little while it felt like I was watching Family Guy.

I could almost see it as being Avenue Q 2 if he ever pushed it forward.

Y'all haven't seen a dudes penis before?

I haven't even seen the movie and feel like I've recovered the Cost of Admission by reading all these, "OMG Penis!!!" comments.

I saw it for the second time yesterday (girl thing, I just can't say no) and I now I really think it was the best of the 'Apatow movies'. Maybe it was just the mood I was in, but I thought everything worked very well in it and the jokes were funny.

I've liked Segel since Freaks & Geeks and that was one of the reasons I originally went to see it, but upon further reflection I think this movie actually exceeded my original expectations.

Exactly how I felt about this movie. Man it was hilarious.

disappointing. OTOH Apatow neither wrote nor directed this. He has producer credits on like a dozen films over the past 2 years, basically getting $ for having his name attached ot the projects. I don't consider those "his" films.

ps. yeah, Kunis looked very fetching

i guess thats how he keeps his hot wife lol🙂

I thought it was "thou shall not pass," unless we're talking about different scenes (i'm talking about the sweatpants montage). Either way, that was one of my favorite scenes in an overall hilarious movie. You'd think with the terabytes of porn consumed here, 3 seconds of penis in a movie wouldn't be a problem.
