Forget the spinners!

How can something so stupid be so cool at the same time? I mean, I'd never ever ever put those on a car I was driving, but it's just so cool that it's possible.

Haha. What kills me is when I see a $1000 car sporting $8000 worth of wheels and sound equipment. That person might have been living within his means until he put all that on his credit cards. 😉

22" package with Pirelli tires ($12,500.00)
24" package with Pirelli tires ($15,000.00)
26" package with Pirelli tires ($19,500.00)

the price will come down as soon as they aren't "new" anymore.

Then maybe I will buy an old VW rabbit and hook it up

We'll start to see extremely cheap versions of this. Like the spinner hubcaps I saw on a riced Civic a few days ago.

I'd like to see a technical explanation of how they get them to work. Especially when rotational speed is changing. It must have a wheel feedback mechanism somewhere. Also, it would be interesting to see how they're powered. I'm assuming its not through the car's charging system.
