<< I won't touch your car based on what? That I assumed you had a stick shift as most GT Stangs do? >>

I would dare say that statement is true. Blueoval had the numbers at one time, but I believe there were more auto than manuals GTs and v6s. Anyways, I have the VIN right here. When can you run the oasis?

From what I've seen, Ford has kept the Mustang afloat during ever since the 'low quality' manufacturing began. In other words, I think they've put a little extra effort into the Mustang 😉

Millenium, I know where you're coming from. People talk so much trash about Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth. They site them for making the most unreliable cars ever - but mine's still running like a watch after 10 years. *shrug*

It all depends on who you talk to / ask really...

Just think of where the Mustang might be if......in 1989 the "Fox" body was replaced by a FRONT wheel drive car.....Ford was planning on doing this, but a public outcry changed their mind.
The FWD car then became the Probe.

Ok, how about this. Ford seems to have a lot of recalls because, unlike say, GM or Chrysler they would rather incur the cost of a recall than let you drive around risking your life.
