You corrected me in saying it was GMAC, not GM.

Same difference.

You are not getting that this pay back of the 'commercial paper' is hardly the real deal.

What's the "real deal"? That there is 0 debt? That's dumb and inefficient.

The Fed bridged a liquidity gap, bought CP, paid money for it, has the CP mature, got its money back. It acted as a market marker and lender of last resort in a fucked up situation.

So what?

You are missing the big picture still outside of this cheap money lend.

Like I said you seem to think it's all smooth sailing.

Then please, explain it. I'd love to see your well rationalized, thought out, logical, and thorough explanation of the problem. Because all I've seen here is one-liner snippets and 8-year old "uh-huh" responses.

So please, go on, edumacate us poorly educated folk.

so I will repeat. They are getting free money and other monies from outside our country as well. They are all also playing the pay back with other borrowed funds.

The GM deal was the worst...

The problem is for all this money there hasn't been a real increase in production....

However; you are the one throwing in 8 year old responses. just re-read that last post of your's.

What money? From whom? How much? Why do you see it as "free"? How much has been repaid? How much is left? How much was CP?

You haven't provided any of the above.

An unreasonable decrease is far better than a real increase.
