A few years ago I read an article which talked about people who can't get insurance, not because they can't afford insurance, but because no one will give them insurance because to keep them alive/healthy would cost hundreds of thousands a year. I found it very sad how everyone including the goverment made it seem like these people lives isn't worth the money it would take to keep them healthy. This is through no fault of their own. Another thing do you know what happens to poor people with cancer. They don?t get treatment since they have no insurance and hospitals are not required to treat them. It is a sad thing really.
There are plenty of poor people who rack up millions in medical bills for cancer treatment.
