I'm 5'11", and I weigh about 212. I'm definitely overweight, but I've weighed as much as ~260 in the past.
I've lost about 30 pounds in the last 3 months through exercise and controlling my caloric intake. My goal is around 180. :)

what is the ideal weight at 5'10 or 5'11?

I'm 5'10-11 and only weight 142 lbs the last time i checked.

I've been scrawny my whole life and extremely self conscious about my posture and upper body

so.. how much do you weigh and are you content?

I think you are a wee bit on the skinny side. But no worries, I'd rather be skinny than heavy.

I am 5'9", 155 lbs.

time for me to hit the gym more frequently and drink more protein shakes

I'm 5'10" ish and 125 pounds. skinny as a twig, no fat or muscle. I've never seriously lifted, but I've done weight training for running, but have never been able to build muscle. I'd like to add some bulk, not serious muscle but enough so I'm not so friggen bony, will probably lift a lot this summer.

Just a hint: Do not neglect your leg and hip muscles when doing resistence training.

when slacking on the gym i can drop down to ~ 152.. right now i weigh about 155 i think...
i wish i could get up to 175... but i dont think i can without consuming any supplements...

I'm a constant 170. I'm not fat nor skinny, but I could probably define my muscles a tad more.

Sad thing is I didn't even realize I'd gotten that big, I didnt' look like I'd gained it. Apparently that was all an illusion.

Man.

6'11" 260? Jeez, did you play football or basketball in college or high school? With your size you could dominate.
