for those of you with a TV card, have you tried using Dscaler?

Although I can't use it for my ATI All In Wonder Radeon.. my two roommates use it for their TV cards and it is absolutely wonderful. more picture quality settings for a tv card than i have ever seen.

try it out search google for 'dscaler'

yeah it works really well with my tv/radio card combo, now if only I had cable tv...

Funny, i have a friend with that card and no cable tv either :)

I guess that's better than having a Tekram 390 u3w ultra 160 scsi adapter and no hard drives on it :eek:

DTV (deinterlace TV) is also really good. I had some problems getting it to work on my card, but once I did the picture quality was really really good. It (unsurprisingly) deinterlaces the NTSC stream to create a sharper, less noisy image.

DTV (deinterlace TV) = DScaler <-- they changed the name...

yes, picture quality is VERY VERY good

If you have a great picture, it would be nice to have something to watch, would be my guess.

Dscaler works great with my Pinnnacle PCI tv tuner card. It has a nice user interface and works great. It doesn't use much of the system. I would highly reccomend it.

I have the Pinnacle Studio PCTV Pro card.. I finally got it to scan through and I have all the channels.. but I don't have any audio.. how do I need to set up Dscaler so that I can get audio? Thanks for anyone's help...
