for those of you with a TV card, have you tried using Dscaler?

Although I can't use it for my ATI All In Wonder Radeon.. my two roommates use it for their TV cards and it is absolutely wonderful. more picture quality settings for a tv card than i have ever seen.

try it out search google for 'dscaler'

<< yeah it works really well with my tv/radio card combo, now if only I had cable tv... >>

Funny, i have a friend with that card and no cable tv either 🙂

I guess that's better than having a Tekram 390 u3w ultra 160 scsi adapter and no hard drives on it 😱

DTV (deinterlace TV) is also really good. I had some problems getting it to work on my card, but once I did the picture quality was really really good. It (unsurprisingly) deinterlaces the NTSC stream to create a sharper, less noisy image.

<< What does having cable TV have to do with it? >>

If you have a great picture, it would be nice to have something to watch, would be my guess.

Dscaler works great with my Pinnnacle PCI tv tuner card. It has a nice user interface and works great. It doesn't use much of the system. I would highly reccomend it.

Let me know if you have any more questions..
