I paid $1500 total for my wife's engagment ring...

don't spend 2 mo salary on your ring, epecially in this day and age with the marriage failure rate and all. At your ten year, spend two months of your salary, if you can afford it, and buy her a something special.

yup, read an article about rare yellow diamonds can now be man-made at 1/2 the cost.

also a competing company is making PERFECT 1 carat regular diamonds cheap also.

then again, man made emeralds are 3% the cost of real emeralds. go figure...
