I know feeding trolls grits is not a good idea, but I have to ask why the universe existing proves the existence of god? Do you just use your feelings to state this or do you actually have physical proof? I know this will end with you using logical fallacy after logical fallacy (if you even go that far) to come to a conclusion you can never prove. Most likely you will just make a few unsubstantiated claims and then leave the thread.
So what evidence do you have?

I was, but I was like nah, let them figure it out for themselves.

Since you ask and if really want to know about one approach out of many, look up the proofs to these 5 statements:

1) There is at least one unconditioned reality
2) Unconditioned reality itself is the simplest possible reality
3) Unconditioned reality itself is unique
4) Unconditioned reality is unrestricted
5) Unconditioned reality is the continuous creator of all else that is

The fact that there's anything at all is proof of God's existence.

Otherwise there's nothing.

Unfortunately for you this God you refer to is just as likely to be TFSM or Cthulhu as an old benevolent man in the sky who just is somehow really really terrible with money.
