For the Folks Who Formally Pray, How Do You Pray?

I see some people pray by making a fist of one hand and placing their other hand over top of the fist. Kind of like this.

Don't pray. Closest thing I do is silent contemplation and it's handless, which makes it superior.

For the record, I seldom "pray" these days, but when I do "commune directly with the divine" these days it is simply and directly and not on my knees or with my hands in any specific position.
But I was a practicing Catholic and went to Catholic school through 5th grade, and when we prayed, it was with fingers upright and parallel. And yet, in that other referenced thread, it seemed like most used the fingers interlocked and folded position, which made me curious about how folks who pray did so. <shrug>

Anyway, even amongst the short sample so far, the interlockers have it 4-1 (literally) and yet, as I mentioned in the other thread, the entire first page of Google images has it the way all three members of the Holy Trinity obviously intended.
And if there's one thing organized religion has taught me, it's idiot certainty!
