For the "Detroit is going to burn down the city" crowd

Just got back from the game. Unbelievable, and the crowds were great during the game, and even better after. Just a lot of celebrating.

sad when you have to report you didn't have a riot

It's more sad that people shape their opinions about something without having any knowledge of it.

Go Tigers :beer::beer::beer:

you have to be in downtown Detroit, where it was all love and celebration, to appreciate it. the atmosphere is unbelieveable with people from all classes, walks of life, different income brackets, and different skins colors, celebrating and high fiving each other. the tired old stereotypes of there being riots is usually for people's whose teams just lost 😀

wow, you must have had stayed up all night and written that one down, just for this occasion.

well crafted, assmunch.

Congrats to the Tigers.

And congrats to the fans, for heavily torching all the buildings in previous celebrations that they won't ignite anymore. 😛

Detroit... The amazing, disappearing city.

Population in 1950 - 2 million
Population today - 900k

Bye bye Detroit... Nice knowing ya.

God help them if they win any more world championships. Any more destruction and population loss and we'll see Mad Max and his cronies show up thinking they've found paradise. 😛

There have been many celebrations in Detroit and Michigan for wining teams without any violence.

There have been many celebrations in other cities for wining teams with a great deal of violence.

People love to hate what they don't know.

People's perception of Detroit and it's fans are so skewed.

I've been to Detroit many times, the stereotypes are true.

It's America's worst city, hands down. It's nearly 3rd world.

I always thought New Orleans had that title.
