Its funny reading all these posts about ppl not being granted access... The admins repeat what they have already posted only 2 posts up. Ppl just dont bother to read lol... i would rather be an elementary school teacher then an admin here 🙂
 
Haven't posted here in a loooooong time, hitting tech forums only intermittently these days, but was hoping to expand my search for some hardware into the sale/trade forum here. Am I so far out of date I'm past the cutoff? 🙂

I'm not a bot and/or schill, I promise. I've just been lurking on [H] and TR's forums mostly.

I checked your access permissions and everything is fine. The servers need to cycle with the new, updated permissions.

You should have access in a few hours.

If you can't see FS/T after a few hours, create an MD thread here:
http://forums.anandtech.com/forumdisplay.php?f=56

We will then help you get access.



edit:
When you do get access, remember to read the updated rules since it seems its been awhile since you've been back here.

Also remember to enter a valid FS/T email address so its visible to the community. It's a requirement to access FS/T.

I think i also fall into this as well, been a member for quite some time before forums changed over and cannot access FS/T either.

You need to make 25 posts before you can participate in FS/FT. This is a simple security measure. Let your voice be heard!
 
Been a member since before join dates were reset back in Oct '99. Noticed when I looked for the FS/T forum today that I didn't see it in the list. I've managed 346 posts in those 17 or 18 years (not exactly prolific 🙂 ). Could one of you guys take a look into this for me please? Thanks!

(edit) NM.....I had hit the "back" button after logging in (boy am I an idiot!)

You have access.

There are still things you need to do before posting there. Please read the thread "Important! Things you must enable in your profile to participate here" and the "FS/FT Forum Rules" as some rules have changed since you were last in that forum.
