Total American Government spending is about $6.5 trillion dollars, 50% more than the GDP of China. Or 50% of our GDP. Much of that is deficit spending.

In so far as numbers go.
Over 21,000,000 people work for government....
Over 20,000,000 million people work in health care.....and half of which is paid for by govt.
10,000,000 more work for defense/other sundry defense security state contractors.
44,000,000 Americans stand in digital food lines receiving food stamps.
17,000,000 Americans receive unemployment checks.
45,000,000 more receive Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid
Plus millions more receive other forms of welfare/aid (farm, pensions and so forth)
If we added it up over 2/3 Americans are receiving government aid..... and we can account for a significant amount of WalMarts, Walgreen's, Drug Manufacturers, Health Care, Grocery and other sales that provide jobs in our economy to these people receiving govt aid.
Go ahead cut it and you'll see how close they are linked
I sell oil gas and liquor and a lot of my sales are to people dependent on people dependent on govt spending. We are all trapped by deficit spending.
