Well, EA no longer holds a NASCAR licence, so you can't blame them for lack of a NASCAR game on the PC.
my bad then. last i heard, but that was a year ago.
if ea never existed, yes there would be a lot less horrible games on pc. and there would be NFL2k1 because sega would actually have a chance to buy the license. and i dont care who makes the new nascar 2011 for pc, the point is that ea is gone and it probably would be a great game comparatively to their efforts.
steam has been a pretty damn good deterrent from piracy, where the hell was the gaming industry a decade ago on that? im tired of piracy being blamed for everything, when their solution was to throw ungodly amounts of money at drm that was never plausible or secure.
heres a crazy idea, make the multiplayer part of your games work well enough that people actually want to use it. pretty much kills piracy as soon as you can authenticate each time online. oh, and how about putting the game in a cd package that might actually be worth holding onto? the carboard boxes they come in now start looking like garbage just sitting there. give us a standard, collectable packaging that might be worth something more then the game itself someday....
