FOOLPROOF WAY OF NOT LOOKING LIKE AN IDIOT ON FORUMS!

DON't POST!!

I'm not the one complaining about people being brought to task for breaking the law. If you don't like it, get enough votes and change it or accept the consequences. Don't act like you are MLK engaged in ground breaking acts of civil disobediance.

No one complains about being caught. They complain about the illegal tactics used by the RIAA. Get with the program.

What illegal tactics?

I don't think they are illegal. If so why isn't anyone suing them? why aren't the feds going after them for thier "illegal" tactics. As far as I know everything they are doing is according to the law.

What he meant to say was "unconstitutional." And for a bill to be declared unconstitutional, it has to be reviewed by the Supreme Court. And they simply haven't gotten to it yet.

Are you talking about the DMCA?

When they ask you why you downloaded all that music, say "I was backing up my collection and it was easier than ripping my CDs." When they ask to see your CDs, say they were stolen. How can they argue with that?

You were supposed to keep the reciepts, so if you claim that the CD's were stolen they can request to see the reciepts. No original CD's and no proof in the form of reciepts = you are screwed.

Did you ever notice how receipts from 7-11 and other places that use thermal printers tend to fade to nothing after a year or so? Sometimes I'll go looking for a receipt from Circuit City after it has been sitting on file for a year, only to find that the receipt is completely blank. Kindof a lousy system if you like having proof of purchase.

Yes. Obtaining a warrant without a judges signature... why is that privelage reserved only for them? Why can't the police do a murder investigation that way? (I don't agree with it, btw)

Assuming you didn't like the deoderant, did you just walk out of the store with it still in your hand?

No but you still have the deoderant on your body from when you tested it....the can would be the entire album....

That's a terrible analogy. The deoderant on your body would be analogous to the song still in your mind. Just like the deoderant will eventually wash away, you will forget the song, and you won't have any evidence of ever owning either.

Is this the thought process stupid people use to justify theft?

Forget it, tnitsuj. These clowns have been raised and schooled in the Democrat mindset... they're entitled to it!
