He reminds me of something I saw when sitting at the dentist waiting. This fairly old guy (50s/60s-ish) comes in and starts talking to one of the receptionists. He's trying to reschedule an appointment for his son. I just tuned it out and kept reading my magazine, but he's talking so loudly he can't be ignored. Turns out his son is in college, and had blown off several appointments without notice already so they just told him to take his business elsewhere. The guy is making a scene and one of the actual dentists comes out because the guy just won't leave. The guy explains that his son was afraid that he'd die from pain if he has more than two of his wisdom teeth pulled, and the dentist is explaining that they're all infected and he needs to have them all done so they can also get rid of the infection, but the idiot just kept blowing them off for weeks.
