Food keeps getting stuck in my wisdom tooth sockets.

What is a good way to remove it? The surgeon gave me a syringe to use to remove food debris, but it doesn't seem to be able to get everything. I thought about using tweezers, but wasn't sure if that was safe.

I'm pretty sure I just used a toothpick or something.
Side note, messing that up causes quite a bit of bleeding...

Is this the third of forth post about your wisdom teeth? Almost everyone has had it done, yes it sucks, yes there are some hassles to deal with afterward.

Suck it up and deal with it...Fuck.

You're going to get dry socket, it's the worst pain imaginable, worse than a gunshot!

LOL!

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm really sick of hearing about your fuckin wisdom teeth and their fuckin holes! Quit being such a pussy!

Avoid foods that are "messy" for the next few days. Eat soup, yogurt or other simple foods where stuff can't get stuck. Things like pizza and subs are your worse enemy right now.

Another fucking wisdom tooth thread by this guy? Use a hammer and beat the food out, or get a .45 and shoot the food out.

Either way will result in the food being out and relief for us. It's a no lose situation really.

to be fair he's not complaining about pain. the 'food in my gumholes' thing can go on a long time and prevent healing.

i was told the rinse thing, but 'manual' clearing was often necessary. i used those dental floss picks. NOT the pointy part, but one of the rounded ends that holds the floss (remove floss). much less aggressive than a toothpick.
