I like how his "100% of the time" is just a couple of high profile cases that got a lot of media attention (and Dunn was convicted).
The majority of murder suspects claim self-defense at trial. At least a new one every day. Why aren't spidey and Spatial defending all of those?

Dunn was only convicted for stupidly firing 3 shots into the back of a vehicle that was leaving the scene. That's absolutely it. If not for that he would've been scot free.

This is a losing argument for you. Sure, people take advantage of it, but how about all of the lives it saves? Our justice system revolves around allowing 10 guilty people go free if it saves 1 innocent person's life. Maybe you'd be better off in some third world country where they determine guilt based on gut feelings?

Legally you cannot hold him having a gun against him unless it was brandished before the incident.

So being unarmed and having 3 unarmed friends present that are in no way involved in an argument you're having with a person who is armed represents disparity of force for the unarmed individual, but being a armed police veteran with training against an unarmed man doesn't? It is an individual right of property ownership that precludes state involvement in any way shape or form.

With that being said... This particular death has moved me to such a degree that I will personally be melting down my firearms and will offer up my body and soul to the government to protect me and mine. In exchange for my constituency as a voting citizen of this country, I expect to be blessed with their protection.

It was a sad day in 2014 when this happened, a sad day indeed.

There was enough conflicting evidence with some testimony from other people and what Reeves said on the phone after when talking with emergency responders which is why stand-your-ground was tossed. That last bit is why you never ever ever talk to police about a case without a lawyer present.

So it'll go to trial and all the evidence will be aired out. Either there will be enough evidence to form reasonable doubt and be a self defense case or there won't be.

where did I state or imply guilt or innocence? there was a lot of back and forth about him 'standing his ground'
