Kudos to the speaker. I think it speaks volumes to the depravity that is the ATPN right when they defend and cheer the GOP's attempt to steal elections. Conservatives should think about being a better party/people rather than being sneaky little shits.

"To me, that's like saying in a football game, 'We should have only three quarters, because we were winning after three quarters and the beat us in the fourth," Weatherford, a Republican, told the Herald/Times. "I don't think we need to change the rules of the game, I think we need to get better."

Nebraska used to do this. This led to one of Nebraska's five electoral votes going to Obama in 2008. There, the Republicans changed the rules the other way.

They should make up their minds. :p

As a Falcons fan, after last week I would like to pick up the idea of changing the rules so that the winner after 3 quarters does win and make this rule retroactive to one week ago. But otherwise, smart man. It's good to see politicians willing to speak out against the stupid or amoral actions when they occur within their own party.

I'm anticipating 2 youtube links that don't prove a point but have someone's added text commentary making claims on the video without any proof. One link from a highly partisan website run by a conspiracy theorist with easily debunked points. And one link from a moderately credible news source that doesn't actually prove his claim but he seems to believe it does.

Why aren't Democrats complaining about Nebraska rigging their electoral vote to favor Democrats?

Nebraska is 5 measely electoral votes in a non-battleground state. The GOP wants to change the rules ONLY in battleground states, are you out of your god damned mind?

Democrats: Here are our policies. If you agree vote for us
Republicans: We need to fix the electoral votes to keep out those darkies.

Yeah Dems are surly rigging it.

Yet it was the democrats who created the KKK, had Robert Byrd with them and the republicans are racist?

You are a disgrace and a sellout

*Yawn*, they're all republicans now. Remember, the GOP decided to adopt the southern strategy and court racist whites. Now the GOP's base of power is in the slave states. Do we really have to go over this again?

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

How's that voter suppression working for the GOP?

I gotta say, the GOP has a lot of Chutzpah to try to disenfranchise minority votes then wonder aloud how they can bring minorities into the fold to vote for them.

A) That's vastly off topic. and B) No one is denying that the democrats used to be the conservative party and that now all those conservative racists are members of the GOP. And hey guess what, France used to be a military power capable of conquering most of Europe but that has nothing to do with what they are now.

Ok, lets think about what you just said.

It seems to me that you first sentence contradicts the second.

If the GOP only wants to change the rules in battleground states why did they already do so Nebraska? :colbert:

It is nice to see this getting greater attention now. Truly pathetic and sincerely scummy. If the electorate doesn't like your policies, change them.
