What a crappy thing for the stewardess to do! :p

(Oh come on, that deserves SOMETHING)

BTW you have no RIGHT to poo, its no where in the laws or constitution that gives you any such right. any jury or judge who would hear any case and not throw it out are a bunch of red neck tardo's!

I'm sure we're all aware that laws serve civilization, not the other way around.

Law does not deifne right action. If a reasonable individual needs to take a dump, why would anyone stand in thier way?

lol, I can understand the law. However, as long as it wasn't during landing or takeoff I could see her letting you go for an emergency.

Imho the first time they told you that you needed to remain seated you should have motioned one of them to come close enough to you that you could speak quietly and inform her that you'd been ill and were in dire need of the restroom.Obviously nobody wants to tell others such personal matters but you can't expect them to read your mind or blindly disregard the airline's safty procedures.

A good idea indeed.

However, shatting in a barf bag in front of everyone would have made for a pretty hilarious story too if things didn't work out (albeit embarassingly).

ok...so this weekend i get seriously ill and have to spend some time in the ER at 3:30 in the morning

i get the IV's and the drugs and im getting a little better (i had been throwing up nonstop the day before) and the best part...SERIOUS, uncontrollable, diarrhea..

i know thats gross, but you guys are old enough to hear it..anyways

i have a flight home later that day (i was visiting my dad in st. paul, MN) and the diarrhea had yet to subside

im on the plane, i feel it coming, i get up to go to the bathroom and she yelled from the front "SIR SIT DOWN THE SEATBELT SIGN IS ON" and the guy in the back yelled the same thing and wouldnt let me by...

so i said to myself "ok, i can hold it, ill sit and not cause a scene"

few minutes later, light isnt off, i get up to go again because its approaching t-2 minutes and i HAD to go, but here they are again, SIT DOWN SIR

i was like "ma'am i have an emergency and i need to use the restroom"....."im sorry sir, you are not allowed to get up, its the law"

so im pissed off now because i have to go really bad and i dont wanna sh1t in my seat, so i just came right out and said it

me..."ma'am i hate to be rude but i have been really sick and i have to diarrhea like no ones business. id really like to use the toilet in private but if i have to use the

barf bag, i will."

before she could speak, the guy next to me chimed in..."please let him go"

she moved out of the way (after almost 15 minutes) and let me use the restroom

end of story, sorry for the grotesque nature of this but i felt the need to bitch about it

it wasnt fair that the only way they would move was if i completely embarassed myself by saying what was actually wrong and why i had to go
there are reasons why they have to tell you that.
you are standing up when the seatbelt sign is on and get hurt, then they are responsible.

In response to the bolded portion:

Will the airline give me a 100% refund of the $300+ fare (that I probably booked more than 2 weeks in advance) simply because I have the $hits? If not, they can kiss my a$$ because then either way he's breaking the law: violating air policy or commiting indecent exposure. :p

LMAO BTW. :)

hahaha well im glad i could give you some sig material! that is quite amusing now that i go back and read it

and to whoever said "its not the law that they have to let you poo" go fvck yourself...you obviously dont understand just how sick i was...and do you think i can just not go home because im sick? how stupid is that!

geekbabe, i know i could have done that, but there was 0 turbulence and we were not in take off or landing, they were serving drinks and i was definitely in dire need to get

to the restroom, so dont tell me what i did wrong. i handled it just fine (until the end, then i lost it)

anyways, im glad i could give you guys a good laugh :D

haha

and yeah, i know they put up with a lot but come on guys...what would have been on your mind at the time? pooing all over yourself or what the stewardess has to put up

with on a daily basis? thats what i thought

normally, i am considerate of other people, but for gods sake, i was about to dump in my pants. give me a break.

If you had physically moved the chick or gone in the barf bag you'd have been arrested. Sucks, but that's how it works on the airlines these days.

This thread reminds me why I don't fly anymore if I can drive instead.

I seriously would've just pulled a jackass and just shitted right there. Then I would have loved to see the look on the stuardess' face.

If I was the stewardess, I doubt I would have risked my job for someone... notice the doubt part however. In a sh!tty situation like this, I'd probably make an exception ;) :p
