It's dangerous to be up during take off. And can you imaging what would happen if you were to pee while taking off? The stream would be all over the place and it would be nearly impossible to aim! I can see their point, but if it were an emergency, I would have just run in there pulling my pants down on the way. People would recognize it and get out of the way.

I wouldn't travel if I was that sick, probably extend my stay for atleast another 48 hours or so.

Great, now every terrorist will use the poo excuse so they can get to the bathroom to detonate their sneakers. :(

I hope you feel better!

I got a big laugh out of that! crapping on planes is the worst!

  • First you got to time it right.
  • Second you get to wedge yourself into a yoga pose from hell just to get situated.
  • Once situated, you KNOW that a malfunction could result in your intestines getting sucked out of you.
  • Then you got to pray that the engine noise is louder than the egregious noise coming from your ass.
  • Assuming you are successful and live, then you get to do more yoga so you can wipe.
  • Finally you get to wash your hands with water in a minature sink with water that is probably dirtier than your hands.

Under federal law you are no longer allowed to get up during the last 30 minutes of a flight. So if it was in the last 30 minutes thats why. You should have taken her to the side and explained the situation.

Out of curiosity, what airline was it? Some airlines train staff differently than others. While I'm all for the rules, the airline attendants are having to get more and more assertive as the population generally gets more rude and "I'm in charge" with the whole air transportation system. In any event, you should relay your story to corporate.... being yelled at once would suggest they were simply informing you of the rules, after having to do it a second time, they should have talked with you rather than yell.

I recently had a long talk with my grandfather about flights in the 1950s vs today.
