Flashlights anyone?

You guys know there are machines that you can hook your fleshlight up to, right?

But seriously, those FLASH lights look good.
I would get the UV one for inspecting hotel rooms. You never know, maybe somebody used a fleshlight before you. 🙂

Make certain they are FLASH lights and not FLOOD lights.

I made the mistake of buying the X10 flood light. It was a waste of $25. I took it back and bought a mag light. The thing threw light about 10 feet while the mag threw it about 100 feet.

Yeh, LED is cool...just not in a $25 flashlight.

MagLite is much better than LED in that price arena (lumen for lumen). Much larger too! But if you need a flashlight for just lighting up small rooms and hallways then the dinky LED flashlight will do you fine.

You want throw?

This will give you throw. I can hit stuff so far away I need my 12x90 binocs to see what I'm spotting. 😀

I like the Maxabeam too but its beam is almost too narrow winged all the way down to full choke. I guess you could say I'm what they call a flashaholic but I'll never get caught in the dark.

Great googly moogly that's some high powered concentrated light right thar! No doubt very expensive.

Luxeon LEDs can be brighter than the Maglites. Check this list out... http://www.flashlightreviews.com/features/chart_overall.htm

The maglite 4D gets beat by quite a few flashlights that are generally smaller. I have admit that maglites are cheap and durable. However, I hate having to replace the bulbs.

The U2 is nice provided you win the lux lottery and get one that's not too green. Most are pretty white. Quite a few have the slight donut hole in the beam but that is one of the tradeoffs of a more shallow parabola with such a large emitter active area.

I like my L4 a lot with Pila 168S cells. I have confirmed that a ship 6 miles away could see me sending morse. It's that intense.

For EDC use I will (one day) get my HDS U60GT to replace my Arc 4+. The Arc is fine but they don't make them anymore since the company went belly up. I would not want to lose it so I'll keep it with the rest of my Arc collection.
