I had In N Out the other night. I need to get double the fries because the single order doesn't satisfy my craving. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers, but should've went with 2 double doubles instead. So delicious. I don't like to get animal style fries because I put my home made chili in it instead. Omnomnomnomomommm

My local Wendy's must just suck. I tried the baconblasterkablammerkegerator thing like twice, and both times it was a bunch of soggy, limp bacon on their beef patties which just seem dry and flavorless.

Crispy bacon is indeed awesome, but it's a rare bird in fast food.

Runner-up is 'absurdly-large' bacon. I think it was Chili's that had some bacon burgers with 'thick cut' bacon. It was like a pile of country ham (but with a little sweetness) on top of your sandwich. Odd but glorious.

Oh, and I'm a total fry-whore. I likes me some crispy potatoes. I was at a sandwich shop in Atlanta a little while ago, and they had 'garlic parmesean' fries or something. Fuckin' awesome.

Yea chili's does make a great burger.

Anyone else try Elevation Burger out?

Not as good as Five Guys IMO and much more expensive. Fries suck in comparison.

I would love to try an In-n-Out, but that's west coast only.

My wife and I have a gift card to the elevation burger in Portland Maine, but we have yet to try it out. Will let you know once we do.

The Chill's bacon, blue cheese burger is still the best burger I've ever had. They don't make it anymore but you can order a bacon burger with blue cheese and it's close to it.

what do you guys think of red robin? its mostly burgers.

Really good burgers, the Jalapeno Disc's are pretty damn awesome too. I'd like them much more if they had regular size, or shoe string fries. All you can eat fries sounds so uber. But I really don't care for steak fries at all. But it's probably a good thing because if they had shoestring fries I'd be there 2-3 times a week eating 3-4 baskets each time. Would be bad ass if you could upgrade the fries to all you can eat Jalapeno Disc's for a few extra bucks.

I tried the Ghost Pepper burger and was very disappointed at how it wasn't really spicy at all. I don't expect super spicy food from a chain, but with Ghost Peppers in the name I thought it would be the exception.

I'm also not a fan of steak fries, especially theirs. However their sweet potato fries are awesome!!!

I get the Burnin' Love burger there, but I substitute the burger with a grilled chicken instead. The meals aren't exactly light on calories, so every little bit can help. :p It's good, but it's definitely not cheap... unless you take advantage of the bottomless fries, which makes the calorie situation a bit worse!

just ate at five guys tonight, apparently they now have "tiny" fries. which is a smaller portion and a dollar less. i ordered them and yeah there's a lot less fries. it's only a dollar less. so like 2.39 here. for only a dollar cheaper i felt like there should have been a little more fries.

also idk why everyone raves about in and out burger. it was meh the last time i ate there. now whataburger is really good!

The trick with five guys is to let the burger cool down.

I can totally see how someone who tries to eat the burger too hot doesn't like it, but kinda their own fault.

The burgers are ok, but nowhere near good enough for the price. Any home made or local burger joint is usually better for the same or cheaper money.

The fries, however, are total and complete ass. No, I take that back as it's an insult to ass. Seriously, among the worst fries I've ever tasted.

They make a pretty decent burger but a little expensive. Red Robin makes a good burger as well. Never tried In and Out. Someone mentioned Backyard Burgers. Tried them at Atlanta airport once, very good for that type of fast food!

Smashburger just opened a place on my daily commute. I finally stopped last week and was not disappointed. My new favorite burger!

Five guys is too expensive in my opinion. Their burgers have like "0" flavor to them. I know better places for hamburgers that have more taste. The only thing Five Guys has going for them is the patties are huge, and the fries are unique with the cajun flavoring. Shit I can sprinkle paprika and cayenne pepper on my own fries and duplicate the taste.

Every time I've eaten there I realize I just ate a slightly better Wendy's burger but paid twice the price. Several coworkers feel the same.
