My GF is allergic to, pretty much, EVERYTHING. Including silicone.

She asked me to research fitness trackers for her, and one of the first things I noticed, is that most of them use silicone, either in the band, or the entire device.

Are there any out there that don't? TIA!

You'll want to do some google searches yourself.

Fitbit has the luxe that has a stainless steel housing and supports a wide variety of bands. The standard band is silicone, but they have stainless steel, leather, and woven bands.

Yep, had already tried Google. Unfortunately, the "smarter" Google searches get, the smarter you have to phrase your search, in order to get reasonable results. The problem with predictive, versus literal, search results.

Thanks for the info. I'll check that one out.

Most of the garmin watches are metal backed and you can swap out the silicone bands for a steel band or woven band.

You don't give a price point, so hard to say what type of tracker you're going for. Apple watch also fits the bill.

Price point is of lesser importance, IMHO. That's why I didn't bother stating any. Much more important that she's NOT having a skin reaction, to whatever is on her wrist!

I'd take a serious look at the Garmins. The Fenix 5 or Fenix 6 are their top of the line (GPS, music, activity tracking, smart watch) but their Forerunner line is quite strong also and should still have a metal case back. A fabric band probably will run you another $20-30 and a steel band I'd guess around $50 or more.

Price is not an object and she owns an iPhone, then an Apple watch with a non-stock band is essentially the only answer. No iPhone, then you can go with anything, including an apple watch.
