Woah...

It's gotta be dead though, all its organs have been removed. It's like when chickens run round for a while after you cut their throat.

The brain is still attached to the spinal cord and gills. All that was removed was muscle and digestive tract.

From what it looked like, the digestive track was still there. The back of half of a fish is just its large intestine, everything is shoved up in the "chest" area of the fish.

The narration say the sushi chef doesn't hit any nerves so the fish doesn't feel a thing... LOL!

yeah, when I was in Korea, I ate sea cucumber raw that was just cut up, and the head of the fish our sashimi came from still flopped around a bit. The raw squid also wriggled on the plate too. Sooo gooood

I've seen that before. I caught a walleye once that had been caught and filet previously. I was blown away when I caught it.

I saw a japanese cooking show once where the chef cut the fish and put it on a plate. The flesh is already cut off but the fish head and bone is still moving! Also they also showed one with octopus!

what's the difference between that crap show and what I do every other month (drift fish)?

That is probably the best fish that guy in the vid is ever going to taste.

So did the fish grow the muscle back at all? Or did it just heal up and stay like that, all skinny in the middle?

how is that even rmeotely wrong?

god phucing THANK YOU.... and I am an atheist.

Who cares if you're an Atheist? I don't think fish fit into God's divine plan no matter what religion you study anyway. I thought the video was kinda disgusting and just can't believe there are people who like that sushi crap, it's like they prefer to eat like a bear in the wild instead of properly cooking their food. Whatever, enjoy your mercury poisoned fish meat.

It would have been better to have dispatched the fish and then made sushi out of its meat.

uhh.. have you ever tried sushi? Like your steaks well-done? Meat has a different flavor when cooked...
