Put it in the bank, retire, and live off the interest (~$500K/year).

Same here, and then for the next 3 or 4 years never come back home one time, just travel travel travel 😉 From there decide where I would make my perminent home cause I know it's not here. 😉

After the obvious which has been stated over and over again... I would love to fund my very own WRC racing team and put myself through many racing schools.

Buy me a yatch.... an Nissan Skyline, and a bunch of office spaces (for rental). The rest just put it in some mild risk mutual funds... Oh... and I'll actively donate to charities also. It's a good thing and also a tax write off.
Do you mean a yaht? I would want one of those, couple nice cars, and buy everyone in my immediate family a house. The rest, I would invest and live off the interest.

I hate to travel. Maybe I'd go fishing more.. get to *know* the lake ..every hot spot..

First thing I'd do is pay off all my loans and any bills.
Then I'd quit my job and go on a worldwide vacation, eventually I'd likely settle somewhere nice, buy a house and car and other fancy gadgets.

Pay off all our debts. Pay off the debts of my parents and parents-in-law. Buy the properties on either side of our place, and any others nearby that I could. Travel and show my kids the world.

I'd probably keep working ...

I'd definitely buy some pimpin' properties, and cars/trucks ...
I'd invest a lot of it ... start trusts for family members ... I would turn a lot of it over to a financial advisor (have fun!) ...

I might fund some projects of people with no capital ... not quite venture capital ... but ... kind of ... 🙂

Buy a brand-new fully loaded suburban. DVD system for the kids is a must.

Write my mom a check for a million dollars.

Write my wife's grandma a check for a hundred thousand dollars. She helped us out quite a few times. (She's 89, enjoys her retirement community, and doesn't spend money on anything, so that would be more than enough to make sure she never had to worry about money again.)

Buy a Ferrari or some other really expensive, exotic car.

Buy a nice big house near the beach in La Jolla.

Have some serious fun at Newegg.

Do some traveling. Italy, Spain, Ireland, Australia, Swiss alps, Disneyworld.

Tithe 10%-ish, spend way too much money on my car..buy stuff for my family..etc..put the rest in the bank.

Pay off my now-mounting student loans
Pay off my parents' debts
Get the second-story addition on the house my Grandmother wanted
Buy a Corvette
Buy a new computer
Put the rest in an interest-bearing account of some sort

I'd Buy a Nuclear War head and drop it in a highly populated place, then smoke 200k of weed to my self

1. Go See a Financial Planner
2. Make My Phone # Unlisted
3. Pay the Feds to join the Witness Protection Program to keep all of the wackos and family relatives away from me and my new Bling $$ Bling.
