Ok, what is the first film you remember seeing in a movie theater?

Mine was Top Gun. My dad made me go see it 4 times with him. I'm sure I saw movies younger than this, but this seems to just be called out as the first one I really remember.

Update - Mine changes to ET. Realized it when someone mentioned it.

The first one that I was taken to was Raiders of the Lost Ark. I really don't remember it, but I know my sisters took me to it.

Mine was Total Recall, I was 10.

Probably watched some disney stuff before that but I can't remember the name.

Original Star Wars is the first I remember. I was 6 or 7. Although I remember go to the local Drive-In before that.

i cant remember... maybe batman?

up until the age 15 i had only been to like 3 movies in the theater... batman, home alone and ghostbusters 2
my parents were not movie goers and the place where i lived did not have many theaters. now im a movie buff though

Top Gun? You youngin'. My first was Goonies.

I remember others when I was super young, but not titles or anything. Yep, I'm young, but 24 isn't THAT young.

BTW, I was sad there was no Battlecat too!

First I remember is ET on the 4th of July then watched the fireworks. I think I was 4 or 5 at the time. What year did ET come out?

Don't know if it was my first movie or not but I can remember seeing Star Wars at the theater when it was originally released.

Hmm...one of the following but I couldn't tell you which:

Bambi
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
2001: A Space Odyssey

It would have been at a smaller theater where they showed 2nd-run films and such.

And, yes, those old Disney films used to be shown regularly in the theaters.

Topgun! I was about 6 or 7. Parents couldnt find a babysitter so then took me with. I have loved the movie eversince!
