yeah, pushing carts in 120 degrees will suck if I am still doing that 🙁 I know a fair bit about electronics so I guess I'll see about crosstraining into that during their orientation thingyPushing carts is a good start, but get inside the store as soon as you can. Doing carts in summer and/or winter is a PITA. If you got experience/interests in other areas the store has (electronics, cashier, ect), let your supervisor know you'd love to cross train in one of those positions, then hopefully you can move there full time.

I would say:
Be friendly: Say "Hello" to any customer walking in the store, and "Thank you" to those leaving
but its 40 cents above minimum 😛you can excel in nearly any minimum wage job simply by showing up on time every day and being respectful toward your bosses.
That's probably it. Just show up on time for your shifts and do your job correctly. That already makes you a better worker than most. I guess you could try to take extra tasks and whatnot to show you're really willing to work whatever area, but it depends if this is just a summer job or you plan to stay for a couple of years.I'm hoping not being an imbecile will help me advance
