Not so sure this is a serious post however I will try.
@kimorajason make a new thread, in that thread post your budget and what you want to do with the machine
Also let us know your skill level. Have you built a PC before or will this be your first time?
Lastly the motherboard is important however its importance is more about reliability and how often it gets bios updates.
CPU/RAM/storage have a far larger impact on performance vs motherboard
