First Drive: 2006 Hummer H3

maybe this will sell for the right reasons after all...

I'd buy this over the new bubble-utes for sure.

$$$

Well if they're going to make stupid insane trims like the Trailblazer SS w/ the LS2 from the Vette, they sure as hell could offer maybe the Vortec 5.3 or something in the H3.

Just read the review. I'm trying to think of a worse SUV in the $35,000 range and can't. Anyone else?

how can you say that? they thought highly of the SUV. especially for off-roading.

wtf.

I'll stick with the original humvee. None of that H2 crap for me.
Any of you guys want to help me with some donations for my "Hummer fund"??? 😉

yes, because people who buy these things want to floor it every chance they get. That's why they wanted something in the SUV class.

220HP x 3.06 first gear x 4.88 rear axle = 3,286HP at peak RPM in first gear to the wheels.

For reference, an Acura MDX is very close the same weight (~4500lbs)

265HP x 2.693 first gear x 4.375 rear axle = 3,122HP at peak RPM in first gear to the wheels.

iirc, hp is not multiplied by the gearing.
