Post something about a good car. (From Europe)

I like, I would seriously consider one when i get ready to purchase my next vehicle.

This and the new Tacoma are gonna give the new Dakota a run for the money. The Colorado/Canyon don't even stand a chance. They are so outclassed it ain't even funny. Typical GM, they benchmarked those twins against the last generation of trucks instead of what was coming out this year.

Ok, so apparently you care. I stand corrected.

Bah I like Chrysler but I wouldn't buy a Dak, they are gashogs and not nearly as nice as the Tacoma or from the looks of it the new Frontier.

I don't like it either. Here's the latest Dakota review:

I pity the fools that have to market these beast sometimes. There is talent out there, but they are all on crack.

We might have been more apt to give it some slack had our test truck been a reasonably priced midgrade model, but we're talking about a top-of-the-line Laramie that rolled in with a sticker price of nearly $33,000. For that sizable chunk of change, we got a decked-out four-wheel-drive crew cab with options like the upgraded V8 (the standard 4.7, not the high-output version), 17-inch chrome wheels, a tow package and various interior amenities like satellite radio and a sliding rear window. The fact that you could score a nicely equipped Hemi-powered Ram for similar money was never far from our mind.
LOL:laugh:

This truck will be a success, like the Titan. It simply has the best powertrain, from VQ40DE on down. Unlike Titan, which has to build it's reputation and sales from ground up, Frontier will hit the ground running. All of Nissan's trucks and SUV's will be hits. The Titan, Armada, Frontier, Xterra, Pathfinder and Murano. All owing their success to Nissan's engine and powertrain genius.

One problem:

Nissan will not offer a regular cab model or return with a Crew Cab long-bed model.

A big WTF!!!!! That was the ONLY reason to get a previous generation Frontier over a Tacoma/S-10/Ranger/etc. And that was the 1 of two deciding factors for my dad getting an '03 Frontier XE 4x4 Crew Cab Long Bed (the other being price).

At least Toyota isn't so damned stupid:

Tacoma Double Cab Long Bed

Now if only it wasn't hideously ugly.... 😛

It looks like a nice little truck, but it doesn't look like one.

I wouldn't want to try to parallel park that thing in SF 🙂

Ummmmmm NISMO??
No cool number/letter designations left?

Ford FX-4

Toyota TRD

Chevy/GMC Z-71

Nissan comes crashing out of the marketing meeting swelling with pride after coming up with NISMO?
Am I playing a Gamecube hero or going off-roading?

Other than that, looks pretty sweet for Nissan
