I think it's wise, personally.
Well said. Like most people already know, most trucks will not see massive boats or have more then a bed and a dresser int eh bed. So GM made a truck that fit that life style. One that can tow and haul medium amounts of carge while giving a very nice ride and decent gas milage for a truck. I liked this part the best....
" It takes as long to appreciate the improved stiffness of the new architecture (GM says it's 250 percent more rigid) as it takes to encounter the first bump or depression or railroad track. Colorado and Canyon float across those types of things with barely a ripple disturbing your karma or your coffee. They're also a lot quieter than the old models."
Damm thing sounds like it rides better then my old buick.
If you do haul/tow large items, then you need a full size truck and should not even be looking at a smaller one. I think GM is setting the bar that the full size trucks are the work horses, and the medium ones, like this, are aimed at those that would buy a Jap truck for a better ride, soemthing that older small GM trucks did not truely offer. So in the long run GM has setup a 1 2 punch on trucks. The full size trucks I think are next to be redone, even though I think they are still the best OVERALL choise of a full size pickup right now.
