Pretty much as I predicted. Good friend material. Her daughter & mine are the same age & hit it off great, so we've done some kid things together. But no real chemistry or such between us.

Not sure there can be for anyone right now. Lately I just don't seem to give a damn about women/girlfriend/relationship at all I've met a few woman that objectively I think I should be interested in, but there's nothing there. My therapist calls it "The Dead Zone" and that's exactly how it feels. I mean, I care about the kids, I do a good job at work. But I can't seem to give a damn about anything else.

Time I guess.

It'll get better, life gets really strange if you jump right into another relationship.

People tend to go for someone opposite of what they had, when what they really need is someone in the middle of the scale.

Nothing wrong with some recreational safe sex, but chill on relationships for about a year to get your head in the right place...
