Well, being out with a girl other then the ex was very wierd to say the least. I know it's absurd to feel guilty given the situation, but I did.

But beyond that, we hit it of pretty well. Not much chemistry, but good conversation, etc. Had dinner, considered a movie, but it was to late. My first impression is high friend potential, low girlfriend potential. Which is OK. We'll see how it goes.

Whoa ... back from the dead.
Pretty much as I predicted. Good friend material. Her daughter & mine are the same age & hit it off great, so we've done some kid things together. But no real chemistry or such between us.

Not sure there can be for anyone right now. Lately I just don't seem to give a damn about women/girlfriend/relationship at all 😕 I've met a few woman that objectively I think I should be interested in, but there's nothing there. My therapist calls it "The Dead Zone" and that's exactly how it feels. I mean, I care about the kids, I do a good job at work. But I can't seem to give a damn about anything else.

Time I guess.

and well, friends aren't bad. they can introduce you to more of their friends 😛

It'll get better, life gets really strange if you jump right into another relationship.

People tend to go for someone opposite of what they had, when what they really need is someone in the middle of the scale.

Nothing wrong with some recreational safe sex, but chill on relationships for about a year to get your head in the right place...
