Heh. no wonder. these stupid byproducts of our educational system still have that "these (fill in the blank)s all look the same" mentality
What do you expect. these people can't even locate their own state on the map, you want them to tell the difference between India and Pakistan.

i hate this shiet...what do they hope to accomplish by doing this stuff?...these people with their rage should just enlist if they're so desperate to take such actions...at least that way there will be people with actual intellect and not ignorance telling them where the real enemy is...*sigh*

edit: spelling

Static911: Wow, we were just talking about the same thing. If China bombed something, would I have to start look ingbehind my shoulder? That would totally freaking suck. Something I had absolutely nothing to do with and abhore, and I've gotta pay some penalty for it? At least the government's labelling these hate crimes, so we know the ignorant mofo's are gonna get extra penalties. I'm in silicon valley and while driving today, I saw an indian/middle-eastern lady walking along el camino in full garb and my first thought was "Damn, I hope she's gonne be alright." :(

This is totally f'd up. I'm so pissed about these incidents. Don't these STUPID FU.CKS REALIZE that they are creating more enemies?

These people ARE NOT ARABS, ARE NOT MUSLIM. (not that we should blame American Arabs or american muslims). I know some immigrants that are 10 times more patriotic than WASP Americans. I have many Sikh friends and can say that they are very nice, friendly people. They are the last ppl to deserve this.

LOOK AT TIMOTHY MCFUKINVEIGH.

we have been fighting Islamic aggression for hundreds of years, Americans have just started.

For all those that like to group Middle Easterners/South Asians together, go read what i shappening in Kashmir before you 'lump' us together.

during the spy plane crisis, i was looking over my shoulder all the time

I'm making a statement: there are dumb, ignorant white boys in my school. They think all Asian people are alike. Heck, they even think all Europeans are alike. When they get drunk....o boy...you better be with a bunch of people. You would not imagine the filth that spews from their mouth

And...the worse part, the black guys join in...unless its a black beatdown, then they get all pissy on why a black person got beaten down instead of a white guy...

dhruv, i know your not all alike...word man...heck, i'm' studying eastern religion...ISlam !=hindu

I was behind a truck at the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru yesterday, and the passenger was yelling, quite loudy, at this poor Indian (I think) girl working the drive-thru. Something about him getting his chocolate donut or something. I revved my big V-8 just as they started to drive away. She was scared. What A-holes.

And then the militant proud blacks become Muslim.... don't they realize the Arabs were the first to enslave them?

Thank (whoever) I live in a more "enlightened" area.
I work next door to a 7-11 that is owned buy a Indian and ran by he and his brothers.
They are some of the nicest folks you could ever meet. And they are VERY hard working AMERCIANS.
A few days ago I asked him if he or any of his family had experienced any fall-out over "all this". He said no-one has seemed to act any different towards him. Though he also said most everyone knows he is from India! The sad part, is another friend of mine that works in another business next to the 7-11 made remarks to me about his brother one day while his brother was waiting for the bus (his brother wears a "turban"). He also said he can't go into the 7-11 anymore without feeling "weird". Even one of the guys I work with, said he felt strange about the guys. Unfortunately, I guess it's human nature to respond this way to a degree. But anyone with half a brain should know that most of those people you may feel that way about. Have a LONG LONG history of hatred (though hatred may be too strong of a word) towards the same people WE are now dealing with. The middle east is a LARGE area, and a lot of the people there tend to look similar. That doesn?t mean they have anything else in common with the crazy SOB's we are fixing to deal with! And I'm sure we will find ally's in this endeavor in places where we never expected to find them! THE VAST VAST majority of people in this work are ALOT more like US than they are the bastards that committed this terrorist act. And remember although this attack occurred in OUR land, there were people from ALL over the world in both the jet liners AND the WTC! Don't you think the people of THOSE countries will want payback as badly as WE do? I think this attack in the long run will not only wind up uniting the US against this enemy but MOST of the rest of the world. Including people who may LOOK just like the bastards we will be looking for.

<< i bet the perpetrater was an uneducated white guy...how unlikely is it to see an ethinc person in america commit hate crimes like this? >>

Huh? Perhaps you've never heard of long-standing 'tensions' between blacks and Korean, Muslim, and Jewish business owners in communities throughout the U.S. where blacks are the frequent perpetrators of violence against these ethnic groups? Though, you may be correct that you are unlikely to "see" an ethnic person in American commit hate crimes, unlikely to "see" it reported is more accurate.

Though the media frenzied for weeks over habitual criminal Rodney King's treatment at the hands of white police officers, nobody paid any attention when three white teenagers, two boys and one girl, were brutally attacked by a gang of blacks in Flint, Michigan after the teens mistakenly wound-up in the 'wrong' part of town. One of the boys was killed. The other boy was nearly beaten to death, while the lone white female was shot in the face after being forced to perform oral sex multiple times. Both survivers recalled the perpetrators using multiple racial slurs as they were attacked. Racially motivated hate crime? Not according to black community leaders and the prosecuting attorney who they endorsed for office, just a random crime by some misguided youths.

Though the media frenzied for weeks over the dragging-death of James Byrd by three racists in Texas, there was hardly a mention of Melissa McLaughlin, a white woman who was kidnapped, beaten, raped, tortured (by partially skinning her alive, then pouring bleach on her open wounds) and shot six times by a group of blacks, one of them confessing they selected McLaughlin because she was white. Hate crime? Nah, just a random act of violence.

Though the media frenzied for weeks over the torture of Abner Louima at the hands of white New York police officers, there was nary a peep from the national press when three black teens, two male and one female, lured 10 year-old Tiffany Long, a white girl, into an empty house. There, they sodomized her, strangled her with a cable wire, and beat her to death with a wooden bed rail. Hate crime? Not according to Jesse Jackson, who joined the local NAACP for a prayer vigil - not for the victim - for the PERPETRATORS.

According to Department of Justice figures, in 1993 there were 1.4 million crimes involving interracial violence nationwide. Eighty-five percent of them were committed by blacks against whites ("white" may include ethic groups such as Italians). A white is 50 times more likely to be the victim of a violent crime committed by a black person than the other way around. The first hate crime conviction to be appealed to the Supreme Court involved a black perpetrator and a white victim.

Rodney King, James Byrd, and Abner Louima have become highly-recognizable names due solely to intense media 'hate crime' coverage. Yet, few people have ever heard of Missy McLaughlin, Tiffany Long, Michael Carter, Dustin Kaiser, and one girl whose name was not reported because she was a minor (they all might as well go unnamed).

Do you want to stand behind your claim? Cuz, I'm just warming up.

Whoa, tscenter! :Q

That was an eye-opening read. Never thought it'd be that serious. :(

And I just wanted to add that I found ethnic minorities more racist than "whites." My parents (for example) once owned a night club and every time something went wrong, they blamed on racism. They claimed that "somehow" club go-ers found out that the owner was Korean so they avoided our club. I found that tough to believe. And to top that, they told me that while "white Canadians" may not be as racist at my age, they become more racist as they grow older. Soon after they told me that, my English teacher (European background) married a Chinese guy. :)

I won't even get into all the absurd comments they make. At least they haven't harmed anybody due to racism, so I'm ok with them for now. And I think it's caused by some form of "insecurity" than hatred.

LOL! it never ceases to amaze me how many times no matter what the subject, if its based on race, blacks so how come under fire. First of all black muslims, those of the Nation, would never ever join with any other ethic group in a beatdown of another. So that is a lie. Second. Most of all the racial hate crimes are committed by whites. What is sad is that those same people who would percsecute blacks, hispanics, and jews, now have reason to persecute Arabs. I have been saying for ever that racism really is not color bound. It hates anyone different from them. Make no mistake about it if they are hating on blacks today, they will find some excuse to hate on another race tomorrow. But what I even find more disturbing is does this stuff have to happen now? Can't we in this country find love for each other in a moment of crisis? Can't we set aside our differences for just a little while? Do we have to make threads or posts putting someone down based on color, race, or religion right now? The last time I checked we had people dying in NY and DC not based on color, race, or religion. It was based on the fact they were American or even visiting in America. If that alone doesn't send home the point that the continuing to find fault based on race, color, or religion is senseless and even silly I don't know what will. I thank God I am not to hard of heart to change my way of thinking.

Were you talking about some other thread? Because this one isn't really putting anyone down...right? Except the idiot who killed the guy of course.

These Indians and Pakastani's here need to better identify themselves so we know exactly whom to beat up instead.

You better be careful who you pick a fight with.

I did say instead. Beating up the wrong person by mistake sucks.

Ummm, it's really easy to tell Howard...

If they're in this country, you don't beat them up. (unless they're actively trying to hurt you or someone else)

See, now isn't that simple?
