"Balbir Singh Sodhi, a 49-year-old gas station owner, was shot dead on Saturday in Arizona. Sodhi?s family says his death was a direct fallout of Tuesday?s terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Reports suggest that the same unidentified gunmen shot at an Arab six miles away from Sodhi?s station, but he escaped unharmed."

What really pisses me off about this is that the guy wasn't even a Muslim. He's a a member of the Sikh religion, an indigenous Indian religion that is not even remotely related to Islam or any of the other "Abraham's Religions". Ironically enough, the Sikh religion was originally founded as a movement within Hinduism to combat the forceful, violent spread of Islam in 16th century India. Sikhs are very strict in their rejection of Islamic customs and practices. Most Sikhs will not even eat meat that has been cut by a Muslim (Halal). They are the last people on this Earth who are going to support Osama bin Laden.
Most domestic Muslims do not wear cloths on their heads as Osama bin Laden does. Most do not even have beards. However, in the Sikh religion, it is forbidden to cut one's hair, so most Sikh men wear turbans and have beards. This is not because of any similarities in the religions; it just happens to be a coincidence. They also tend to have similar complexion to Muslims. However, the average angry fool with a baseball bat probably sees a Sikh and assumes that he's in league with Osama bin Laden. What a pity.
