Personally, I prefer to let my cereals sit for 5 mins or so before eating them.. especially Peanut Butter Captain Crunch.. let that sit for a good 5 minutes or so, and it will be the soggy mush that cereal SHOULD be! My wife on the other hand, completely disagrees.. she gobbles down the cereal the instant she pours milk on it to make sure its as crunchy as possible.

Crunchy. But then Im usually in a hurry so no time to wait for soggy. If I want soggy, I'd eat oatmeal.

that's nasty dude, cereal was not meant to be soggy. that's like saying ice cream is supposed to be melted or something.

I have extremely sensitve teeth so masticating a crunchy bowl of anything makes my jaw so sore I think it's going to fall off. So I voted soggy. Although I prefer to let it soak just long enough to get it somewhere between crunchy and soggy, but by the time I'm at the end of the bowl it will be completely soggy.

I also microwave my ice cream for about 12-18 seconds just to soften it up a bit. I can't stand hard ice cream straight from the freezer! I like to make it as if it were the soft-serve ice cream from Dairy Queen.
