Did you mean slowest to open for the first time or slowest to use normally?

Slowest to use normally. I don't pay close attention to opening times. I open my browser once every several days, so open times aren't that important to me. It's slow to open anyway, and I don't think this release has changed much in that regard. I'd say that's still slower than Opera or Chrome.

I think people give to much weight to speed in the browser equation. There's other equally important features, but everyone uses speed as the defining benchmark.

Speed and features are both important. I recently switched from Firefox 3.x to Chrome, and it's noticeably faster, more crash-resistant, and also supports some revolutionary features like WebGL. The only part where it lacks is the number of extensions available for Chrome, but most of the ones I like are available for both browsers.

Such great news!!! Since it has taken this long, my hope is that the RC is pretty much the final version and it is coming soon!!
