It's alright. Chrome is still faster/snappier, and I don't use extensions, so I have no reason to use it regularly.

I'd say it's a good bit faster. Not up to Chrome's speed, but very noticeable.

Been using it for a couple of days now, everything feels the same to me, which is exactly the way I like it. Only had to update one addon.

Works for me. Have you updated noscript? Mine says 1.9.5.

that shows 3.0.11 for me

That's weird. I get 3.5 :^/ I'm already on 3.5 though. Is there an update available if you check Firefox updates in Tools?

I'm at work, checking for updates doesn't work through the proxy for some reason. It's not explicitly blocked and this isn't an enterprise managed version of FF or anything. It shows up as 3.0.11 in IE as well. What's weird is one of the guys I work with grabbed 3.5 this morning which is what led me to believe it was pulled. Ahh well, I'll try later and if not just grab it from home and bring it in.

For anyone using the AIO Sidebar, im just wondering how to change the bookmarks background back to white as it was. Seems like they should give you this option. I'm using the default theme so that's not the issue. I don't mind the light blue but just wondering if anyone knows anything about this.

After uninstalling and reinstalling all of my extensions and FireFox. I started to do some research on the subject. It appears that a Windows update conflicts with many extensions in FireFox at the moment. To circumvent this do the following:

Go the Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> View Installed Updates (link in the top left)

Then look for:
Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (KB963707)

and uninstall it. You may have to reinstall some of your extensions that weren't working (for me noscript was the one that wasn't working).

Anyway, hope this helps someone!

ah man, i just like to bash firefox even though I use it.

So when I hit update, it doesn't update the add-on!!! But I go look for the add-on manually, and there's a new version right there!!!

I miss opera. :(

Anyone else have problems with Youtube with this version? Main page looks fine, videos play fine, but when I do a search and get a list of videos, it's all scrunched up to the left. It looks like a text column with video caps, 20 pixels wide.

found a damn annoying bug, 3.5 constantly displays 'a script on this page has been stopped due to a low memory condition' popup, and I've tried the solutions listed to no avail. Some say its a profile issue, or a JS issue but either way its back to 3.0.11 for me until 3.5.1 comes out later this month. Hopefully that'll fix it.

I'm not sure what you mean here. My bookmark menu keeps the relative menu position from use to use. If I select the last bookmark in my list, the menu will display all the way scrolled down the next time I open it.

I don't think I set it up special in any way. Do you have it set to automatically clear history on exit or anything like that?

I really don't know then. Maybe try restarting the computer if you haven't done so since install. I don't know why that would work, but maybe it would :^/

Edit:
As a workaround you could organize your bookmarks better. Using Smart Bookmarks Bar you can get rid of the text on your bookmarks, and fit a ton more in the bookmarks bar. I totally got rid of my book marks bar and put them on the top of the browser next to the menu functions.

Edit2:
The top of my firefox looks like this...

just created a new profile...things are working fine (knock on wood), so if you have issues try creating a new profile and transfer your bookmarks, history etc. Instructions are below.
