is this not hitting the autoupdater, cause im still seeing 11 as uptodate on the comps here that i have it installed on

What's in XP SP3 that Firefox 13 needs?

Maybe nothing. They may just not want to support it anymore. SP2 is out of date, and unsupported by MS. If Mozilla continues support they'll have to field questions they shouldn't have to. It's more crap to think about, and unnecessary. If you have to use XP, you should at least be on the most recent edition.

Downloading from link in post #1 ... Mozilla.com still does not have V12 listed on the main page.

OK, that is why it shows we are on the release update channel. Hopefully, no changes to what we have downloaded.

Umm...What happened to my Firefox? That's one botched update they did there.

cool.
The next ver. should have automatic updates in the background if you enable them, even for users without admin rights, right?

edit: just updated from firefox itself, so far so good. It is also appearing on the website.

looks like this article answered my question about automatic updates which is great!!
