? it was a seamless update for me. I don't even notice a single difference actually. o_O

1.) Minimize, maximize, and close buttons don't work. In fact those buttons are probably for the Excel window I had open before opening Firefox.
2.) Tabs no longer go all the way to the end. As you can see, I only have 2 tabs open and the remaining thing you see there Amgen.xls is an Excel spreadsheet I was working on prior to opening Firefox from the new update and also Chrome with lots of tabs open. How am I able to still see other stuff I had open in the background if Firefox is already maximized? o_O
3.) I minimize it and there are some crazy black bars with no minimize, maximize, or close buttons present anywhere.

This is really getting really annoying.
Firefox is also a memory hog. The only thing stopping me from using Chrome at this point is NoScript.

very strange, haven't seen that on any of the machines i've installed it on. You may need to create a new profile.

I'm not so sure if this version of Firefox is any good. I updated yesterday and it only took one day for it to reach 1.8GB of memory used and it kept pinging between 6% and 25% CPU utilization (i.e. 100% of a core). When this happens, Firefox is nearly useless until I close it and reopen it (saves the tabs).

Normally, this would happen after a week or so, but a single day? Ugh, I need a browser that isn't so bad. :(

This release seems to break all mouseover title/alt text - it no longer shows up for images, nor does it appear when I hover over thread titles. Still investigating...

Just checked the mouseovers on this forum for thread titles and images and they both are working for me...

Yeah, it must be something wacky with my configuration at home. Everything's fine here on my work PC.

Edit: And FF12 seems to handle massive quantites of tabs worse than its predecessor. The firefox.exe process would usually run at about 1GB for me. As the session's "age" increased, that would steadily grow to 1.5-1.7GB, at which point it would slow to a crawl and crash.
With version 12, firefox.exe now is right at around 3GB of RAM and acting very sluggish.
Same number of tabs as before, and the process has only been open a few hours, without a whole lot of activity.
:\

Edit: And I can no longer drag&drop text from a webpage up into the address bar or the search bar.
Can't drag tabs to rearrange them either.
