Firefly

Where's the option for Loved it? 🙂

Looking forward to Serenity, though I'd rather just have the series back. Oh well.

for everyone who says "huh" find a way to borrow the DVD's of the season and watch them. My favorite TV show of all time, my pick for best sci-fi ever.

The Dr. Seuss book where an owl and a firefly go around making signs at night or something? It was good but the Diggingest Dog was the best.

I watched a few of them when they were on tv, and just wasn't really impressed. Go figure. So maybe I just need to buy the dvd set and see what everyone was raving about?

Soon as I get names, I will violate whichever Fox execs cancelled it.

To reiterate the rule I made up, every show that premieres on Fox on a Friday and starts with an F, gets cancelled. Futurama, Family Guy, Farscape, Firefly...

Farscape premiered on Fox?

Fox showed them all out of order. Basically they figured their audience was too braindead to appreciate a good story and character development, so they just put all the action-packed episodes first, skipping the two hour pilot completely and confusing the Hell out of anyone trying to follow the storyline.

I could be wrong on that one...I heard it somewhere, but I was out of the country when it ran its course, so I never saw it when it originally showed.

Since the last time I commented on the subject I managed to watch the entire first season including the 2 hour pilot.

I did end up enjoying it and I would love to see more but one thing I can't quite accept is the "Farscape meets Deadwood" feel of the show. I found that I much preferred "shippy" episodes where they stayed in space and away from the horse drawn carriages.

I've recently seen the first 3 episodes on DVD. It's pretty good and I plan to watch the rest as well as the movie.
