Firebird is pretty nice. The tabbed windows is a good space saver and Firebird is faster imho. Better than Opera.

I believe that would be piracy, which isn't allowed on this forum. :)

Welcome to free browsers... they've been available for a lot more than a year...

I tried opera and didn't like it enough to switch from IE. I tried mozilla and liked it enough to switch from IE. I then tried firebird and liked it enough to switch from mozilla. Once you get a few extensions going along with it, + mozilla thunderbird (email) you're set.

mouse gesters?

Yeah, like left click/hold + move mouse left = back a page etc.

That sounds really really gay. That's what my mouse's back button is for...or Hell. I could always press "Backspace"

I've never been big into gestures either. They seem like more trouble than they are worth. Then again, my MX700 has about a hundred buttons to do any commands with :) If I had a two button mouse I could deffinitely see the benefit of gestures.

yeah, seemed that way to me two, but once you really got it down, it becomes 2nd nature and really speeds up your browsing, without having to have your hand on the keyboard, you can use it for other things... wink wink :)

I don't like firebird but mouse gestures are awesome. I use back/forward the most...designating a button for them is a waste and often requires adjusting the hand to click them as well.

MX700 fits my hand perfectly.

I've got a mx500, love the tracking, and the first thumb button is perfect but not the second. I don't find the buttons in front and behind the wheel very convenient either.
