A question for any of you firebird gurus, is tehre a specfic way to get java to work with mozillia? Cause everytime i try to view an applet or something of that nature it says i need a plugin. Even after i get the plugin. is tehre anyway to get it to work?
You'll need to switch a registry entry to get Java working. The mozilla installer does it for you but since Firebird doesn't have an installer you have to do it manually. Do a search on the Firebird forums for the proper process.
Flash also doesn't seem to work for me. why didnt they include an installer?
- Flash... You may have to download the stand-alone version of flash and simply copy/paste into your plugins folder.
- Shockwave... This will detect Mozilla properly and put the plugin in the right directory automatically (if you have problems use the above method.

I tried 0.61 and I'll probably need at least 1.0 before dropping IE6.
Call me a wimp.

Clear your firebird folder and reinstall. Also try deleting your profile if you have further problems
Firebird is fantastic. I run optimized builds for Athlon XP, and I'm in love. Have been for awhile 🙂
I miss the IE engine though. Pages look better when they're built for IE, in IE.
