That's what I'm coming to realize and that is what I'll work on for my muscle memory/training. Off to the range I go.

I've got a feeling we're all going to see you on the news some day, and that it's not going to have gone down like you think. :(

Seriously doubt it. I can't remember the last time I heard a bad story about a legal conceal carry holder. For the most part people that legally carry are some of the most responisble gun owners around.

yeah, but this is Spidey we're talking about....

Depends what I'm wearing. If I don't have my custom pack on then I generally just drop one in my left front pocket or left coat pocket. I don't always carry a spare however.

Trying to get some muscle memory going. Two magazine holster. It feels pretty wrong being in front of my hip, sitting and standing both. Not natural.

To tell you the truth the most natural action for me to reach for them is grabbing the base of my spine with my left hand.

Muscle memory for reloading?!?

How many bodies are in your basement?

A lot.

I keep my extra mags in my mag pouches....then again, when you're in the army that's not a big deal. Why on earth you'd be carrying a gun around for any other reason is beyond me.

awhell, just look at this. http://www.nraila.org/ArmedCitizen/default.aspx

In a country as big as the US, you can always find plenty of anecdotes in support of your arguement. Of course, you also need to ignore the immense volume of research showing the massive likelihood that the only person a legal gun carrier is likely to shoot is themselves or a family member.

Gun control FTW, makes me happy to live here in NZ.

I don't really get these kinds of statements. If one knows they may need their gun one day, they could easily know they may also be in an extended firefight.

For the 'average' guy even 4+ guys would run on just seeing the gun, however; say that guy is carrying $300k in jewels and breaks down in the middle of the worst neighborhood or is just pursued....probably may need to reload.

That said...I don't know if anyone that's carrying extra clips for daily carry except in their bag/case.

Hahahahahahaha. I love people that don't understand firearms, statistics, and the combination of the two.

For the OP, sometimes I'll carry two spare magazines on my weak side in this.

much like those that keep their cats outside. 9 out of 10 live about 2 years max. Then people wonder why their pet is dead on day.

Your gun control statistics are much like DUI's being a HUGE problem. In reality violent crime, house burglary/robbery, etc are much more to multiples more likely.

DUI is popular because it makes revenue and generates votes.

Gun Control is popular because it also generates a ton of votes.

It's proven the only thing gun control does is limit guns to those abiding by the law, not the criminals.

I like how the article said 2.5 million times a year firearms are used for self defense...and this tool explains it away as anecdotal. lol

Under the seat in the car. I hope I never need more than what is already in the gun while I am walking around.

Probably for the same reason why you carry your gun.

Why is it ok for a soldier or policeman to carry a gun but not a citizen of the US?

Are you going to be my personal body guard on duty 24/7 for my entire life?

That research is funny...you often hear the "more likely to shoot yourself or a family member" argument, but that number includes suicides, and spouses killing each other. I'm not really worried about either of those. It's just a blurb, it's worded in such a way to make the unintelligent reader think that the gun will just accidentally "go off" and shoot you and everyone you care about. It doesn't mean anything, you need to look at what the numbers actually say.

my glock mag holds 13 rounds. 14 if i have a round chambered. if i can't stop an attack with 14 rounds, i'm not going to stop it with another 13.
