I would get the hyundai if you are trying to save some loot. The L90D+ is a great monitor. I have the Acer 1914 Silver. Its great, but i dont think its as good as the hyundai. The samsung is a great monitor, dont get me wrong, i was just looking to save you some loot to put it in other places as well as getting a good lcd.

Actually, for electronics, cars, shoes, etc... the US is one of the cheapest places to buy things in the world!
Of course, nobody shoots us here after we get them...:)

Actually, that's not true shizzle...that AUD$2283 system = USD$1735, and you can get the same thing in the US for substantially less...

You might also check out the Polyview LCDs...they have a good rep here, and there are VERY reasonable!

Yes, the Samsung is fine (though IIRC, it doesn't have DVI...). The Polyview 17" has the same specs (though slightly better contrast), and it's a few Pacific Pesos cheaper...

For the wireless setup, I still strongly suggest the rangemax line from Netgear...whether it's with ADSL2 modem or not, it will give you the best connection and throughput by far, as well as being upgradeable to 108 Mbps...

i'm not sure on the exact calculations for AUD -> USD but i certainly hope 1 AUD is ~ .7 USD cause if it's more, u overspent. looks like a very solid system. the processor is PERFECT so despite what other says about dual cores, stay with your 3700. you're GAMING, not doing whatever the hell multi cores are used for. i'd make the HDD to a 250gb WD SE16 drive, possibly add an extra gig (it can wait for later thougH) and drop the floppy. if you really need portable storage for cheap, get a 256mb USB drive. they're the same price as a floppy drive

IS that the ones you were refering to?

Almost...the WPN311 is correct, and if you're using cable choose the Netgear WPN824 RANGEMAX Wireless 4 Router (108 Mbps MIMO Tech), or if you're going to go with ADSL use the DG834PN available here.

overall,

Looks good OP, and I don't understand the XFX bashers on here. XFX had problems in the past but their cards are very nice now, they are definitely worth the lower prices they are sold at.
